About Cape Town Paving

Cape Town Paving is a free quote-comparison service. You describe your paving job once, and independent paving contractors covering your area can contact you with their own quotes.

We are not a paving contractor or supplier. We do not employ paving teams, supply materials or carry out any work. The contractor you appoint does the work, and your agreement is with them.

How the Service Works

1. Send one enquiry. Describe the job, the property and your suburb.
2. Contractors respond. Relevant independent paving contractors covering your area contact you to ask questions, visit or quote.
3. Compare and choose. Compare specification, inclusions, timing and price, then appoint whoever suits you, or nobody.

Why Compare Paving Quotes

Quotes for the same driveway often differ by thousands of rand, usually because of the specification. One contractor prices 80mm pavers on a deep G5 base with kerbs and rubble removal; another prices 60mm pavers on the existing ground. Comparing totals without comparing specifications tells you very little.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not lay, repair or supply paving. Independent contractors do.
• We do not set prices. Each contractor quotes its own. The ballpark ranges on this site are guidance only.
• We do not guarantee the work or the number of quotes. Your recourse is with the contractor you appoint, and responses depend on contractor availability.
• We do not charge you. Requesting quotes is free, with no obligation to appoint anyone.

Before You Appoint Anyone

• Get an itemised quote. Paver, thickness, base, edging, removal, drainage and VAT.
• Check the business. Company details, a physical address and a working phone number.
• Check workmanship. Photos of recent jobs and a reference or two.
• Get the terms in writing. Deposit, balance, timing and any guarantee the contractor offers.
